Find and download a mockup from the links present in this selection or inside any of the other pages of our website.
Once you have the PSD mockup file, open it in Adobe Photoshop. PSD files are layered, which makes it easy to edit specific elements like the screen content, shadows, or background.
Most mockups use Smart Objects to allow easy customization. Look for the layer named something like "Replace Your Design Here" or "Smart Object." It will often be grouped in a folder named “Screen” or “Content.”
Double-click the thumbnail of the Smart Object layer. This will open a new window where you can insert your design.
In the Smart Object window, you can paste or drag your design into place. Resize it to fit the template perfectly.
After placing your design, save the Smart Object file by going to File > Save (or press Ctrl + S / Cmd + S).
After saving, close the Smart Object window. You'll now see your design applied to the mockup in the main PSD file. It should appear realistically on the screen or product, with the correct angles, shadows, and reflections.
Many PSD mockups allow you to adjust backgrounds, lighting, and shadows. Explore the layers panel to customize the environment to better match your project’s branding.
Once you're happy with the result, export the final mockup by going to File > Export > Export As... and choose your desired file format (e.g., PNG, JPEG).
